Robotic Augmentation

The base for the robotic character is the Go1 Model from Unitree Robotics. In addition to the quadruped, auxiliary robotic components will be added to the mounting plate. Such as a 3-D printed head that houses devices to replicate canine emotes, and a reactive rubber tail that wags.

The body styling will also be implemented with vinyl appliques and a flexible exoskeleton.

Body + Affective Interfaces

The body styling augments the quadruped form into a more familar shape, between a childhood pet, and an uncanny new subspecies.

Supplementary Technology

The robot features two emotive eyes, gestural ears, tilting neck, and reactive tail.

Future Stages

As the form of the robot augmentation develops, new components will be fabricated, to attach and dettach from the physcial form interchangably.

Bionic Design

In the search to imitate life in robotics, the inverse comparison holds value. How does a human become closer to a robotic form?
